To help enable teams that participate in the LexDI.org program that qualify for Global Finals.

1. Teams members commit to participating in the Regional Tournament and the State Tournament (Worcester) if they qualify.  Teams are not required to go to Globals if they qualify and that decision is left to the discretion of the Team.
2. Since attending Globals is costly (approximately $2,500 per team member), we want to be able to help defray that cost if possible.
3. We also want to reserve sufficient funds for the following DI season.  Specifically, we want to roll to the following year, half the amount of the current year's expenses.  e.g. If yearly expenses were $5,472.16  we want to roll forward at least $2,736.08.
4. If there are sufficient funds after the roll-forward, each team (not team member) going to globals can receive up to $2,000 in funding.
5. If $2,000 x (total number of teams going to globals) is more than the available funds, the teams will split the available funds proportionally to the number of participants on each team.
6. Reimbursements are for expenses that have receipts.  Examples of expenses that qualify are tournament fees, airfare, hotel.  No alcohol will be reimbursed.
7. Participants that commit to globals and then drop out are not eligible for reimbursement from LCE/LexDI funds.
8. The team manager will receive the funds and distribute funds proportional to the number of kids on the team.
9. Teams must submit their expenses to LCE before the last day of school.
